Fiordland Coast Walks

 Features our walks include:

  • Scenic helicopter flights to and from some walks, either out of the world-famous Milford Sound or the West Coast location of Jackson Bay and Haast.
  • Queenstown departure and return.
  • Maximum 6 clients per guide.
  • Maximum group size 7 people, including guides.
  • The Haast to Hollyford Coastal Walk and the Cascade Plateau Loop are limited to 15 or 18 people per season.
  • You carry only your personal gear on some walks. We provide and transport the rest, including all meals, accommodation and camping provisions.
  • Options exist to vary the walks to suit, such as additional days, alternative fixed wing plane, boat or foot access, faster or slower pace. Please enquire.

Haast to Hollyford
Coastal WalkThe Haast to Hollyford, Guided Walk, Fiordland


With untouched Te Wahi Pounamu wilderness coastline and one of New Zealand’s Great Walks, the Hollyford Track, this walk is without doubt one of New Zealand’s best. We are running three of these walks this season and invite you to join us. 

The Haast Hollyford coastal route has long been known as a route between the West Coast and Southland regions. It is spectacularly scenic. It is remote. It will leave you spellbound.

Forgotten Coast
The Forgotten Coast 3 Day Guided Walk Fiordland


This walk is the most remote. It passes along an ancient coastal route, deep blue sea to the west and deep green bush to the east. This is a walk that will inspire and invigorate with its lost nature, untouched environment, blue seas and blue skies, strident human endeavours and sheer stunning beauty.

If you wish, the walk can be extended to 7 or 8 days and continue south to Big Bay, Martins Bay and Kaipo Bay, a walk completed by few people.

Plateau Loop
The Stafford Coast 3 Day Guided Walk


Departing from the road-end at Jackson Bay, we hike straight into the wilderness, over the hill and down the riverbed to Smoothwater Bay for lunch, a location so named due to its calm and sheltered nature. The afternoon takes us around a coastline varying from rocky platform to sandy beach to quiet cove to the hut at Stafford Bay. The day is an easier one allowing time to explore and relax...
